New Commercial Build and Fit Out
This commercial building was a 24 week project taken on by JAR Builders in Phillipstown Christchurch. This project included a complete design, rebuild and fit-out.
Carlton Bar & Eatery
The re-build of the iconic Carlton was brought on by the Canterbury earthquakes when the original structure, which had stood for over 100 years, was damaged beyond repair. JAR Builders saw the project right through concept and design stage, right through to build and internal fit-out.
Casa Publica
Casa Publica is a new establishment built within the shell of a former business that closed after the Canterbury earthquakes. Utilising the existing building, JAR Builders took the project through design and planning stage, to remodelling, partial rebuild and internal fit-out for the new business. Requiring a very high-standard as part of Christchurch’s iconic New Regent Street precinct, JAR Builders has been honoured to be a part of this project.
Casa Publica Fit-Out
Casa Publica is one of the newest additions to Christchurch’s iconic New Regent Street precinct, and as such needed a special touch to add to the feel of the entire street’s rebuild after the Canterbury earthquakes. With a Prohibition-era South American theme, Casa Publica’s interior design and build was seen through by the JAR Builders team. We urge you to visit for the food and drinks, but also the atmosphere and attention-to-detail that the interior decor and design brings to this new establishment.
Coasters Tavern Refurbishment
Coasters Tavern is another jewel in the JAR Builders hospitality projects. This heritage styled tavern was in need of a facelift, so JAR Builders took on design, remodel and re-fit for the venue. Styled as a west coast miners tavern, the new design features more open and greater floor space, more seating options, sports area and gaming lounge. The fit-out also includes decor and artefacts all sourced and made to suit the theme and feel of the place.
